Building confidence and leadership at RYLA camp

From October 12–14, 2024, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Camp was held at Baan Phu Wan, Nakhon Pathom. This year, we were delighted that our club had the chance to send two students from Kan Kheha Tha Sai School to join this special program:
- Yok (Miss Paphavee Ongsee), age 14
- Palm (Miss Korakot Phanpinich), age 14
Both are in Grade 9 and were eager to take part in the three-day, two-night leadership camp. Together with more than 160 other young participants from Rotary Clubs across District 3350, they experienced inspiring activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.

It was wonderful to see how this camp encourages young people to express themselves, to be bold, and to step forward as future leaders who will contribute positively to society. Every year when RYLA ends, we can see the joy and new energy on the faces of the participants—and this year was no different.
We are proud that our club continues to support the youth in the Lak Si community with opportunities like this. By sending students to RYLA, we are helping to prepare them for the wider world and giving them experiences they will carry with them into the future.
