Provide aids for flood victims

Giving 200 sets of survival kits and support food funds for flood victims

The sudden changes in the weather condition in many areas, especially in the central and northeastern regions of Thailand, have continuously increased the severity of rainfall and flooding in many areas. Local families were affected by food shortage, the lack of shelter, and forgone income. Rotary Club of Bangkok Vibhavadi assists the locals by providing emergency relief support for flood victims. Our club members went to the area and distributed 200 bags of survival kits. We also donated to food funds for flood victims in Lak Si sub-district.

Our club has arranged 200 sets of survival kits, consisting of ready-to-eat food, necessities, and medicines. In addition, 100 sets of cooked food, and a donation of 20,000 baht were made to purchase 5 meals of cooked food for 100 people in the community to alleviate the burdens, minimize the lasting physical and emotional effects of the flood, and bring the smiles back to the community.
