Plastic Bottles for Eggs
An initiative to reduce plastic bottle waste in the community. With the objective of helping reduce plastic bottle waste in the community and to raise public awareness on waste segregation.
Our club aims to collect 300 kilograms of plastic water bottle waste by exchanging 2 kilograms of plastic bottles with 1 pack of eggs. All the bottles will be donated to Wat Chak Daeng temple in Samut Prakan province, to be used as a component in making saffron robes for monks. The 300 kilograms of plastic bottles collected are set to be turned into 599 saffron robes.
A total of 308.36 kilograms of plastic bottles were collected, and can be recycled tomake 616 saffron robes, which exceeds the initial target. All plastic bottles have been delivered and donated to Wat Chak Daeng temple in Samut Prakan province.
