Hydroponic Vegetable Gardening is a social project that aims to provide enriching job opportunities for the community members and strengthen the community by generating an additional income, which can be further developed into the main source of income.

Furthermore, this activity is also providing a career opportunity for the elderly, a growing population group c in the community. An engagement in leisure activities like this is supposed to help the elderly preserve cognitive functions, physical functions, and mental health, and thus contribute to successful aging. This activity has been well received by the communities. Over sixty households in Lak Si district have been participated along with their community leaders
